Do I need to prepare anything before my massage?

Very little.

Before your appointment:

• Make sure there’s enough space for the massage table

• Create a calm environment if you wish (dim lights, quiet space)

I take care of everything else so you can simply relax from the moment I arrive.

What do I wear during a massage?

This is entirely up to your comfort level.

Most clients wear underwear or shorts. You will always be professionally covered with towels, and only the area being worked on is exposed at any time.

Your comfort, dignity, and privacy are always the priority.

Do I need to shower before a massage?

It’s not essential, but it’s always appreciated 😊

If you’ve just finished work, exercised, or feel a bit sweaty, a quick shower beforehand can help you feel more relaxed and comfortable during your massage.

That said, there’s no need to worry—this is a professional, judgement-free service, and your comfort is what matters most.

The goal is for you to relax and enjoy the experience from the moment we begin.

Yes. Touch of Wellness provides mobile massage for guests staying in Airbnbs, holiday cottages and other short-term accommodation in Canterbury, Faversham and surrounding areas of Kent.

Yohann brings the massage table, towels, oils and necessary equipment directly to your accommodation. Individual, couples and small-group bookings can be arranged, subject to availability and sufficient space at the property.

Touch of Wellness also offers massage services through Airbnb, where previous guests have left 5-star reviews.

Can several people book massages at our Airbnb or holiday cottage?

Yes. Touch of Wellness can provide several treatments during one visit to an Airbnb, holiday cottage or other accommodation in Kent.

This works particularly well for couples, families, groups of friends, hen weekends and girls' weekends staying around Canterbury, Faversham, Whitstable and nearby areas.

Touch of Wellness is operated by one therapist, so treatments take place one after another rather than simultaneously. For larger groups, the Massage Party service may be more suitable.

What happens when Touch of Wellness comes to my home for a massage?

ohann arrives at your home with a professional massage table, towels, oils and other equipment needed for your treatment.

Before the massage, there is a brief consultation to discuss your health, areas of tension, treatment goals, preferred pressure and anything that may affect the massage. The treatment can then be tailored accordingly.

Yohann sets up the massage table and leaves the room while you undress to your own level of comfort and get onto the table under the towels.

Appropriate draping is used throughout the treatment, and only the area currently being massaged is uncovered. Consent and comfort remain important throughout the session.

At the end, Yohann leaves the room again while you get dressed before packing away the equipment.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by card or cash and is usually taken at the end of the session.

Do you offer massage parties, hen parties or group bookings in Kent?

Yes. Touch of Wellness offers mobile massage parties and group bookings across Kent, including hen parties, girls' weekends, birthdays and group stays at Airbnbs and holiday cottages.

Massage Party bookings are available for 2 hours, 3 hours or 4+ hours. Treatment time can be shared between members of the group, with guests receiving treatments one after another.

Depending on the number of guests and time available, treatments can range from shorter back, neck and shoulder sessions to longer individual massages.
